Important Information for your Stay
Please be aware of water safety flags. The closest one is at the public area near the pass and is visible as you drive over the bridge, or call 251-968-8433 for the Daily Beach Report – weather, surf report and high/low tide info. Please don’t kayak if wind is blowing out to sea.
During sea turtle nesting/hatching months (May – October), please keep outside lighting to a minimum. Newly hatched turtles tend to travel toward light rather than down to the water. Never disturb a sea turtle nest. If you suspect you’ve found an unmarked nest, report it by calling 866-732-8878.
